It’s never too early to book for anything, I promise. Even if you feel overly optimistic, book anyway - and I want to get you on the calendar. Sometimes, I get busy and cannot always accommodate tighter requests. Once a date is gone, it’s gone.

Some do's & don'ts to prepare for your session!

DO:

-Begin dreaming about your ideal boudoir outfits. Shop your closet for your favorite pieces you already own and look at magazines and brands you love for inspiration.

-Go shopping!
Ask a friend to join you and help you find the perfect pieces you not only look good in, but feel good in! Shake the nerves off, don’t be afraid to try something that’s a little out of your comfort zone. You never know, you could love a new piece!

-Think Beyond the Shoot
Think about how you want to preserve your photos. Your digital collection is wonderful but, an album and prints are my favorite way to show off my boudoir photos!

-Choose your final 2-3 outfits. Make sure to remove all price and sizing tags from lingerie. Even the permanent ones.

- Arrive with a clean and moisturized face. Our team will pamper you with hair and makeup. *ONLY IF ADDING HMU*

- Moisturize your entire body!

- Wear loose fitting clothing and undergarments to avoid impressions on the skin.

- Eat a light meal that will ensure you’re satisfied but not bloated.

- Allow plenty of time to arrive a few minutes early. You’ll feel at ease and ready to slay your boudoir session!

DON'T:

-Facials. We all love a good glow, but the week of your boudoir session is not the time to go in for any type of facial treatment.

-Wax the day before!Yes, waxing is a great idea, but make sure you get your services done a week or so in advance. Doing so will help avoid redness and irritation of your skin. Trust us, you’ll feel a lot more confident!

-Don't neglect those nails! Who doesn’t love a good mani/pedi?! We highly recommend painting your fingernails and toes, whether you get a mani/pedi or paint them yourself. Keep in mind that your hands will be in most of your photographs.

-Stress-Your boudoir session with Meri is supposed to be fun! Don’t stress out about the small details. Yes, there is a lot of planning that goes into the perfect boudoir session, but you can always count on us to help you from start to finish. Make sure you get a good night’s rest and hydrate. Don’t do anything out of your normal routine. Trust that we will make you look amazing. All you have to do is show up feeling fab! Contact us for any questions about our photography services!

If you need styling assistance, I offer this service with all of my sessions! I am happy to help you come up with a vibe / color palette to produce the best quality photos, whether it's coordinating or making suggestions on where to shop.

I value your privacy and can work with you to keep your images private for an additional fee.

Yes.

Not often, but when I offer minis they'll be posted to my instagram & facebook pages. I prefer to be able to take my time and not be rushed. Capturing you at your most comfortable and least stressed is hard to do when we’re that pressed for time. Making this easy and breezy is something that’s important to me, which is why I typically only offer full sessions.
